Terms of use

Last updated: 3 October 2026

These terms cover playing Hollowmere on this website and using the account, cloud saves and co-op that this site provides. The operator is Robin Trepte, mail@robintrepte.de. How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.

The game

Hollowmere is free to play. There are no purchases in the game. Offline play on your own device does not need an account. Signing in is for cloud saves and playing together.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens through your account. A guest account stays on the device that created it until you add an email to it. Google, Apple and Discord each open their own account.

Saves

The game writes a save on your device. While you are signed in it also uploads that save, unless you turn cloud backup off. Cloud saves are there so you can continue on another device. We run the server with care, and we do not promise that a save can never be lost. Deleting a farm in the game deletes the local copy and the cloud copy for that slot.

Playing with others

Co-op is a shared farm with people you invite or whose code you enter. Don’t use it to harass anyone, to disrupt the session, or to break the game for other players. The host’s game is the one that saves. We may end a session or close an account that is used this way.

Acceptable use

Don’t attack the server, probe other people’s accounts, or send anything unlawful through chat. The source code of the game is available under the MIT license; that license covers the software, and these terms cover use of this hosted service.

Availability

The website and the server can be down for maintenance or failure. We may change or stop features, including sign-in providers, when we need to.

Stopping

You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms. If a term is not enforceable, the others still apply.

Law

German law applies. If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory consumer rules of your country still apply, including where you may bring a claim.

Nutzungsbedingungen

Stand: 3. Oktober 2026
